On Friday, 25 September, Inese Erdmane, Chairwoman of the Board of the Latvian Medicines verification organisation (LZVO), spoke at the conference “Pharmacy Today and Tomorrow: From Regulatory Framework to Digital Solutions”, organised by the Latvian Pharmaceutical Association (LFB).
This year’s conference focused on the most relevant developments in the pharmaceutical sector that affect pharmacists’ professional activities and the daily work of pharmacies. The conference also brought together leading experts from state institutions, who presented the latest developments, including changes to the regulatory framework.
The LFB educational conference was organised as part of the “Medbaltica 2026” exhibition, giving pharmaceutical professionals an opportunity not only to learn about current topics in the pharmaceutical sector, but also to visit the largest and most significant healthcare exhibition in the Baltic States. The exhibition brings together healthcare professionals, professional associations and product manufacturers from Latvia and abroad.
Thank you to Latvian Pharmaceutical Association for the opportunity to participate in the conference and inform the participants about the latest developments in medicines verification.
