The Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation (LZVO) announces that the first ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 surveillance audit was completed in April 2026. The audit results confirm LZVO ability to provide the highest quality services and to protect the information and data of LZVO clients, partners, and employees in accordance with internationally recognized standards.
The audit findings confirm that the information security management system and quality management system processes have been implemented and are functioning within the defined scope of operations. The system documentation is structured and practically applicable, and both the information security and quality management systems are operating effectively overall, ensuring stable and sustainable process management.
LZVO reminds that in 2025 it obtained two internationally recognized ISO certifications:
- ISO 9001:2015 certification guarantees that LZVO quality management system has been established, is maintained, and continuously developed in accordance with the requirements of the standard.
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification confirms that LZVO information security management system ensures a comprehensive approach to risk management, data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The surveillance audit was carried out by “Bureau Veritas Certification Latvia”.
