The Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation (LZVO) informs that the temporary technical issues detected on March 3 have been resolved and the operation of the Latvian Medicines Verification System (LZVS) has been fully restored.
As previously reported, on Tuesday, March 3, technical problems were observed that caused temporary disruptions to the system’s operation, resulting in periodic interruptions to the verification of medicines.
The IT developer and system maintainer, “Arvato Systems GmbH”, has identified and resolved the issue, which affected many users and services in several countries. Temporary system unavailability was also detected in the operation of national medicines verification systems in several European countries.
