The Latvian Medicines Verification Organization (LZVO) informs that on October 15, the new Latvian Medicines Verification System (LZVS) release - version 9.0 - was successfully deployed in the production environment. The system is operating stably, and no technical issues have been identified.
The new LZVS release mainly includes technical updates that do not affect end users of the LZVS. The infrastructure improvements - including security enhancements - are intended to ensure continued system stability and optimal performance for system users.
The updated version 9.0 includes the following improvements:
- New statuses have been introduced to enable more efficient user account management;
- The reporting system has been improved and expanded to support more comprehensive system monitoring;
- Technical and security improvements have been implemented to ensure continued system stability and performance for users;
- Previously identified errors have been fixed and security patches have been applied.
The interface version v5 will remain available for end-user connections.
LZVO once again invites IT providers who ensure connections for LZVS end users to begin transitioning to the new connection addresses as soon as possible, thereby enabling faster processing of verification requests and improving system performance.
