On April 29–30, 2026, a meeting of Quality and IT Managers from National Medicines Verification Organisations took place in Oslo, Norway, bringing together participants from countries represented by Arvato Systems.
During the two-day in-person meeting, representatives of the National Medicines Verification Organisations shared their experiences, providing insights into the methods and approaches used to address work-related challenges across different countries. Discussions also focused on the opportunities of artificial intelligence (AI) and security aspects in the field of information processing.
In addition, participants extensively discussed their experiences in investigating alert notifications, as well as plans for upcoming core system release updates.
The Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation was represented by IT Manager Rihards Plivčs and Quality Manager Andra Pučko.
Arvato Systems GmbH is a software provider responsible for the development and maintenance of the Latvian Medicines Verification System, as well as similar systems used in 12 other European countries.
