The Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation (LZVO) informs that on Tuesday, March 3, technical issues were detected in the operation of the Latvian Medicines Verification System (LZVS).
Due to these technical problems, several pharmacies have experienced difficulties accessing the LZVS.
The IT developer Arvato Systems GmbH, which maintains LZVS, is currently working on identifying and resolving the issues.
In cases where the LZVS is not functioning or technical problems prevent the verification of medicines, we advise acting in accordance with Directive 2016/161 and keeping a record of the packages that cannot currently be verified or decommissioned.
LZVO will promptly publish information on its website as soon as the system is fully operational again.
