The Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation (LZVO) informs that on Saturday, March 21, technical problems were identified in the operation of the Latvian Medicines Verification System (LZVS). Until the issues are resolved, the system is not available.
As the system owner, LZVO, together with the IT developer “Arvato Systems GmbH,” is working on identifying the errors, resolving them, and restoring the system’s operation as quickly as possible.
We ask LZVS end users to contact their IT service providers regarding actions to be taken in this emergency situation, as well as to act in accordance with DR 2016/161 and keep records of those packages that cannot currently be verified/decommissioned.
LZVO will immediately publish information on its website as soon as the system’s operation has been restored.
