The Latvian Medicines Verification Organization (LZVO) has signed a contract with the company Design Data for the use of the Serial BI data analytics solution (a tool based on Microsoft Power BI). This tool simplifies the analysis of alerts, improves the accessibility and transparency of statistics.
Serial BI is also used by several other national medicines verification organizations, e.g., in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Alert data is exported from Latvia's medicine verification system. The new tool helps with alerts from various perspectives and makes it easier to organize and visualize data. LZVO has begun using this data for the preparation and analysis of statistical reports, as well as for the daily management and control of alerts.
