The Latvian Medicines Verification System (LZVS) will be updated to release 5.0 on October 16. The installation of the release is scheduled for overnight starting at 21:00, during which temporary interruptions in system operation are possible.
The new release introduces significant changes for end users - the existing interface v4 which is there since May 2022, will be removed. Further on only connection towards will be possible using interface version v5 which bring several new features compared to its older versions.
The system updates include both functional and technical enhancements to improve system performance and stability. For example, support will be provided for the upcoming Northern Ireland system shutdown, also known as the Nixit changes. Additionally, there are planned interface support updates and improvements in reports for NMVO and NCA. After the system updates, the NMVS portal (WebGUI) will be refreshed with new look.
