On November 22, 2021, a General Assembly of the Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation (LZVO) was held, where the strategy and budget for 2022 were approved, as well as a report on the most significant work done this year was presented.

In order for patients to receive only safe medicines, pharmacies and health care institutions in the first nine months of 2021 have checked in the verification system and handed over 19 million packages of medicines to residents in Latvia.

In order to be able to prepare the draft budget of the Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation (LZVO) for 2022 and calculate the annual fee of the MAH, we invite all MAHs to immediately update the information in accordance with Article 4.2 of the Cooperation Agreement.

Latvijas zāļu verifikācijas sistēmas gala lietotāji ir atbildīgi ne tikai par zāļu verificēšanu sistēmā, bet arī par aktuālu savu datu sniegšanu Latvijas Zāļu verifikācijas organizācijai (LZVO), lai tā varētu uzturēt leģitīmu sistēmas lietotāju datubāzi.

EMVO informs, that prototype and first phase of development for AMS HUB has been completed. AMS HUB solution is currently under system test by provider (started at September 17). Next milestone would be production pilot phase – October 4.
