LZVO hosts Quality and IT Operations Managers of NMVOs and representatives of Arvato Systems GmbH

On April 20 and 21 of this year, the Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation (LZVO) in cooperation with Arvato Systems GmbH in Riga organized two-day working group seminars for Quality and IT Operations Managers of National Medicines Verification Organisations (NMVOs) to evaluate the achieved results and plan the further development of the medicines verification system.

At the seminar which was held on April 20, Quality and IT Operations Managers of NMVOs, that have signed cooperation agreements with Arvato, met to discuss current issues regarding the verification system and future challenges common to all participating NMVOs. To ensure fast and efficient cooperation between all participating NMVOs, several work groups that work on joint quality, change control, system releases, qualification of IT service providers and other important issues have been established.

On April 21, Quality and IT Operations Managers worked in separate groups to discuss and update the most important issues related to the system, specifically in the field of quality and IT solutions.

The seminar was attended by 30 Quality and IT Operations Managers from 16 countries, who meet once every 6 months in one of the member states of the Arvato Customer Group to discuss the most important and latest news of the medicines verification system. Arvato Systems GmbH has been organising such work seminars since 2018.
