In order for patients to receive only safe medicines, pharmacies and health care institutions in the first nine months of 2021 have checked in the verification system and handed over 19 million packages of medicines to residents in Latvia.

EMVO informs, that prototype and first phase of development for AMS HUB has been completed. AMS HUB solution is currently under system test by provider (started at September 17). Next milestone would be production pilot phase – October 4.

To guarantee the safety and authenticity of medicines to patients, in the first half of 2021, 12 million packages of medicines were verified in the system and reached consumers in Latvia, according to the Latvian Medicines Verification Organization (LZVO) data
