Lai informētu slēgta tipa jeb slimnīcu aptieku farmaceitus par aktualitātēm zāļu verifikācijas sistēmas darbībā un atbildētu uz neskaidrajiem jautājumiem, Latvijas Zāļu verifikācijas organizācijas (LZVO) valdes priekšsēdētāja Inese Erdmane 8. septembrī piedalījās Latvijas Farmaceitu biedrības organizētā informatīvi – izglītojošā seminārā.

The Latvian Medicines Verification Organisation (LZVO) reminds that all LZVS end users have certain obligations to be fulfilled in the daily verification process of medicines and in cases where an alert is generated in the system.

To guarantee the safety and authenticity of medicines to patients, in the first half of 2021, 12 million packages of medicines were verified in the system and reached consumers in Latvia, according to the Latvian Medicines Verification Organization (LZVO) data

EMVO remind that even if a product has a (EU) wide authorisation, i.e. licensed in many markets, data should only be uploaded to the EMVS for markets where the product in question is actively being marketed.
