On May 31, a new Core 1.10 release was deployed into the production environment of the Latvian Medicines Verification System (LZVS).

The unique identifier on that pack should not be decommissioned in the verification system by the end-users – pharmacies, wholesalers, healthcare institutions – if the specific pack has already expired.

EMVO repeatedly reminds to all medicines manufacturers, On-boarding partners (OBP) about the quality of data that uploaded to the EU HUB and further transmitted to the national medicines verification organisations.

In Q1 2022, 26.6 million transactions were made in LZVS, of which 6.2 million were package decommissioning and dispensing. This is 12% more than in the same period last year,
